Description
The Laser Tools Electric Power Steering Rack Socket is for the rack bush of electric power steering racks on BMW and Mercedes-Benz. On these racks the rack gear can wear and develop play. You can often correct the play by replacing or adjusting the rack bush, and this socket lets you remove the bush and fit it correctly with the rack still on the vehicle.
The socket has 3 pins and a 24 mm hex drive, which you turn with a 24 mm socket. On BMW, use it with OEM parts kit 32106891974. See the OEM information for the maximum torque setting. Do not use the socket with power tools.
