Laser Tools DPF fuel vaporiser spanner 22mm - Ford

The Laser Tools DPF Fuel Vaporiser Spanner 22mm was developed for removing the retaining nut of the DPF fuel vaporiser injector (Ford OE number 1940311) on the Ford Transit Custom. It is a slim 6-point crow's foot style spanner, 22 mm across the flats with a 1/2" drive, so it reaches where access is restricted.

Use it with 1/2" drive sockets and torque wrenches and, where access permits, with a 1/2" drive ratchet. Laser Tools recommends using it with the Laser Tools 1/2" drive hand impact wrench (part no. 4590).

The spanner fits Ford 1.6 L, 2.0 L and 2.2 L Duratorq TDCi engines from 2012 (EURO 6 engines). A failed vaporiser is often shown by ECU fault codes P244C or P26A1. Vacuum test the vaporiser, for example with Laser Tools part no. 3752: if it holds a vacuum, it is blocked.
