Laser Tools Automotive brass hammer with fibreglass handle 2.5lb

The Laser Tools Automotive Brass Hammer has a drop-forged, spark-resistant brass head and a dual-injection moulded fibreglass handle with a 25% wider neck.

Brass is harder than copper, so it lasts longer, yet it is softer than steel and does less damage to harder metal surfaces than a steel hammer. That suits it to delicate work such as driving pins and bearings in or out. Aluminium hubs and suspension parts are easily damaged by a steel hammer, while a copper hammer deforms very quickly. Brass is hard enough to last and soft enough to avoid damage.

Brass is a non-magnetic and non-sparking material, so you can use the hammer in hazardous environments such as near open fuel lines. The handle has a polypropylene (PP) jacket and a non-slip thermoplastic rubber (TPR) grip that absorb vibration and shock.
