Description

The Laser Tools ATF adaptor screws in place of the plastic level/drain plug used on the latest VAG 7-speed DSG gearboxes, first seen on the Audi A6 from 2011. It is for VAG vehicles with a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox.

The adaptor has a specially machined thread and the required seal is included. It screws in and seals without tools to tighten it. Its plain connection end is sized for the compression fitting of the S183-4792 ATF pump.

The vehicle manufacturer recommends replacing the plastic drain plug once you have removed it. The replacement plug is Connect part no. 31771, and the drain plug removal tool is S183-6242.
