Liqui Moly Bushing and bearing fixation 10g

Liqui Moly Bushing and Bearing Fixation is a solvent-free, low-viscosity, oil-resistant anaerobic adhesive based on dimethacrylate ester. It cures in the absence of oxygen and resists petrol and brake fluid at room temperature. It is made for bonding metal to metal: it fills and fixes gaps of up to 0.3 mm.

Use it to bond coaxial joints such as bearings, bushings, shafts and hubs, as well as plastic, rubber to metal or metal to metal surfaces. The bonded joint can only be taken apart after heating above +250 °C.

Usage

Roughly clean the parts to be bonded of oil films, dirt, paint and other coatings, apply the adhesive and join the parts. Active materials (iron, steel, copper, brass, bronze) cure quickly. Passive materials (high-alloy stainless steel, zinc, aluminium, plastics) cure very slowly or only with an activator. Because the adhesive is anaerobic, the bottle needs enough air inside, so it is filled only to about 1/3. The quantity is still the stated content.
