Technicqll rubber repair tape 8.4cm x 20cm

Technicqll Rubber Repair Tape is elastic rubber for repairing cracks and cuts in rubber items. The maker recommends it above all for inner tubes and inflatable boats, and you can also cut patches from it for garden hoses, mattresses, toys, bicycle inner tubes, rubber lines and rainwear. The tape also works as a seal and as a damping pad that evens out the different thermal expansion of two materials.

Use the tape with an adhesive: Technicqll rubber glue R-310, flexible instant adhesive 4410 or contact adhesive R-226.

How to use

• The surfaces to be joined must be clean and dry.
• Cut an oval patch without sharp corners that covers the damage with at least 1 cm to spare on every side.
• Apply a thin, even layer of adhesive to the patch and to the damaged area. The thinner the layer, the stronger the joint.
• Let the adhesive dry before joining, from a few minutes to around a dozen depending on the adhesive, and follow its instructions.
• Press the surfaces together firmly and keep them pressed until the adhesive has fully cured.
