Description
A KB Global tool kit for fitting and removing self-adjusting clutches (SAC, Self Adjusting Clutch). An SAC clutch has a mechanism that compensates for clutch disc wear. For the clutch to work correctly, the central spring must be pre-tensioned both when you fit and when you remove the clutch disc. The tool applies the correct pressure to the central diaphragm spring.
If you fit an SAC clutch without a special tool, the adjusting ring with its spacer wedges turns out of place, which can damage the clutch permanently.
