IDEAL TECNOMIG 205 LCD SYNERGIC is a synergic inverter semi-automatic welder for the car workshop. It welds MIG/MAG, TIG LIFT, MMA and FLUX: you can braze galvanised sheet and weld stainless steel, carbon and low-alloy steels and aluminium.

MIG/MAG welding has four modes: SYN (synergic), MAN (manual), COLD (lower heat input, for thin materials) and FMIG (for higher productivity and speed). The torch trigger works in 2T, 4T, S4T and SPOT (spot welding) modes. A 4-roller feeder drives the wire and copes with 5 m welding torches.

On the LCD you set the inductance, wire run-in, burn-back, post-gas flow and, in SPOT mode, the spot time. For MMA welding you can set ARC FORCE and HOT START. The VRD function (voltage reduction device), which you switch on or off, lowers the no-load voltage on the electrode, so you can also work in higher humidity. The machine is fan cooled, has overload protection, runs on a single-phase supply and comes with a mains plug.
