IDEAL Battery tester with printer BDT4000A, 6 / 12 V

The IDEAL BDT4000A is a battery tester with a colour LCD display and a printer for checking the battery and the charging system. The battery test shows the state of charge and starting ability of 6 V and 12 V vehicle batteries and works with WET, GEL, EFB, AGM Spiral and flat AGM batteries. The electronic system test checks the electronic system of a 12 V vehicle.

As the result of the battery test you see the actual starting current together with a verdict on the battery's condition. The tester warns you when the clamps are connected with reversed polarity, when there is no battery voltage or it is too low, and when the paper roll needs replacing. The last results stay in memory and you can print them at any time, with your company name on the printout. A built-in LED light, which needs a 9 V battery, lights up the measuring spot. The tester is powered by the battery under test.
