Geko Auto-darkening welding helmet with light

The Geko auto-darkening welding helmet darkens by itself when the arc strikes: the filter goes from the light state DIN 4 to the welding shade DIN 9-13. It is for MMA, MIG/MAG and TIG welding, and in grinding mode also for grinding and preparatory work. An LED headlamp is mounted on the helmet.

UV and IR protection at DIN 16 works independently of the filter shade, also when the battery is flat. Two sensors detect the arc and the filter responds in 0.15 ms. You can adjust the sensitivity and set the lightening delay between 0.2 and 1 s. In grinding mode the filter stays light. Power comes from solar cells and a battery, which lasts approx. 5000 h. You fit the headgear with a circumference adjustment knob.
