D.I.D 428D is a connecting link (master link) for the D.I.D 428D motorcycle drive chain. You use it to join the ends of the chain. It is a clip-type link.

D.I.D states that master links are not interchangeable between chain models, so use this link with a 428D chain. According to D.I.D, the 428D Standard chain is an OEM replacement for small bikes used for general riding. D.I.D gives a Standard chain the industry standard chain life index rating of 100.
