Description
Bosch BAT 191 is a battery tester with Bosch Connected Repair support, which links it to other Bosch devices in the workshop. It tests 6 V, 12 V and 24 V starting batteries: lead-acid, EFB, gel, flat and spiral AGM, LiFePO4 and Harley-Davidson motorcycle batteries. It is also suitable for hybrid vehicles, and its test algorithm covers new batteries from the factory, unused batteries and batteries from stock.
The tester measures by internal resistance (IR) and shows relative compression from the battery voltage during starting. It stores up to 100 test results, and through the USB port you download them and install software updates. The replaceable 3 m cable gives you room to work around the vehicle, and the printer is built in. It runs on 6 AA batteries or two 18650 lithium cells; the holder for the 18650 cells is in the kit.
