Description
The Autoxscan SD960 PRO is a smoke leak detector (EVAP machine) for finding leaks in a vehicle's pipe systems: the intake, exhaust and crankcase systems, the fuel tank system and the turbo system. You can use it on cars, motorcycles, snowmobiles, off-road vehicles, ATVs, light trucks and motorboats.
The detector has its own air pump and a pressure gauge, so you need no other machine beside it. It runs from a 12 V DC battery and produces dense smoke within 30 s of switching on. With two flow meters you control the air mode and the smoke mode independently. If the detector exceeds its operating limit, such as a temperature over 75 °C, it switches itself off.

Use
- Before first use, fill the detector with 20 ml of baby oil or liquid paraffin, and no more than 20 ml.
- Do not run the detector for 8 minutes without a break: let it rest at intervals.
- The round part of the detector gets hot: take care not to burn yourself.
