Autotools Copper pipe connector Ø 4.75 with compression rings

The Autotools copper pipe connector with compression rings joins two rigid brake pipes without flaring them. It fits copper, steel and copper-nickel pipes of 4.75-4.8 mm (3/16") diameter. As you tighten the nuts, the compression rings clamp onto the pipe, so you need neither to flare the pipes nor a flaring press. For passenger cars and vans.

Fitting

• Clean the pipes and remove any plastic coating at the fitting point, so the connector sits on bare metal.
• Push the pipe fully into the nut seat: if it sits too shallow, the ring clamps in the wrong place and the joint leaks.
