Autotools Sound insulation mat PU 500x500x7mm

Black Layer is a sound-absorbing and sealing material made of high-density polyurethane foam filled with special polymers. You use it in the car's doors, door panels, roof and dashboard to absorb noise and as a sealing material.

A sound-absorbing treatment protects the material against moisture and ageing, and after compression it slowly returns to its original shape. The material is fire-resistant and self-extinguishing: it stops burning once the open flame is removed. This matters where it protects the car's plastic parts and electrical wiring.
