How it gets to you
Description
With this Geko thread repair set you restore damaged M5, M6, M8, M10 and M12 threads in engines and other vehicle parts. You drill out the damaged thread with the set's drill, cut a new thread with the single-stage tap and turn a thread insert into it with the knob. The punch then breaks off the insert's protruding tang.
The drills and taps are made of HSS high speed steel, the thread inserts of hard stainless steel. The set comes in a metal case.
