How it gets to you
Description
The Geko tap set contains three hand taps for M8x1.25 threads. You use them to cut new internal threads or renew damaged ones in structural steel, alloy steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals and plastics of suitable hardness.
The taps are made of HSS high-speed steel and meet DIN 352. Tap No. 1 makes the first cut of the thread, No. 2 is the intermediate tap and No. 3 the finishing tap.
