Motul X-Clean GEN2 5W-40 engine oil

Motul 8100 X-Clean GEN2 is a 100% synthetic 5W-40 engine oil for passenger cars. It is made for petrol and diesel engines, naturally aspirated or turbocharged, in vehicles that meet the Euro 4, 5 or 6 emission standard. Motul recommends it in particular for cars running on LPG or CNG.

The oil meets ACEA C3, with an HTHS viscosity above 3.5 mPa·s. As a Mid SAPS oil it holds at most 0.8% sulfated ash, 0.07 to 0.09% phosphorus and at most 0.3% sulfur. You can use it with catalytic converters and diesel particulate filters (DPF). Whether it suits your engine depends on the specifications and carmaker approvals listed below.
