Motul 8100 X-Clean EFE 5W-30 engine oil

Motul 8100 X-Clean EFE is a 100% synthetic 5W-30 engine oil for passenger cars. EFE in the name stands for Extra Fuel Economy. It is made for petrol and diesel engines, naturally aspirated or turbocharged, with direct or indirect injection.

The oil meets ACEA C3, which calls for a high HTHS viscosity above 3.5 mPa·s, and ACEA C2, which calls for a low HTHS viscosity of at least 2.9 mPa·s. As a Mid SAPS oil it holds at most 0.8% sulfated ash and at most 0.3% sulfur. You can use it with catalytic converters (CAT) and diesel particulate filters (DPF). Whether it suits your engine depends on the specifications and carmaker approvals listed below.
