Motip starting aid

Motip Quick Start is an ether-based starting aid in an aerosol. It helps start combustion engines with limited starting power and deals with starting problems of both petrol and diesel engines.

Technical data

• Packaging: aerosol
• Volume: 200 ml or 500 ml
• Composition: mixture of ether, butane and propane
• The aerosol must be at room temperature

Use

• Shake the aerosol before use.
• Spray into the air inlet of the air filter for about 3 seconds, then start the engine immediately.
• On a petrol engine, press the accelerator lightly when starting.
• On a diesel engine, let the engine run properly before you press the accelerator.
• In very cold conditions, spray a little also during starting.
• Do not spray on glow plugs.

Safety

• Extremely flammable aerosol. The container is under pressure and may burst when heated.
• Causes skin irritation.
• May cause drowsiness or dizziness.
• Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects.
• Keep away from heat sources, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. Do not smoke.
• Do not spray onto an open flame or other ignition source. Do not pierce or burn, even after use.
• Do not breathe the spray.
• Protect from sunlight. Do not store above 50 °C.
• If you see a doctor, take the pack or label with you.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• May form explosive mixtures with air in poor ventilation.
• Dispose of the contents and the container according to regional rules.
• Contains: hydrocarbons, C6-C7, n-alkanes, isoalkanes, cyclics, <5% n-hexane.
