Laser Tools Camber comparison gauge Trakrite

The Laser Tools Trakrite Camber Comparison Gauge is a magnetic gauge that you attach to the hub or the disc brake. You use it to measure wheel camber so the tyres wear evenly, and to compare the castor and camber angle before and after adjustment.

When you dismantle and reassemble the suspension, the gauge helps you set the camber close to where it was, as long as you take readings before you begin work. You can also compare one side with the other after the wheel has hit a kerb or the suspension has been damaged by accident.

The front carries a spirit level with a 65 mm wide window and a graduated camber scale from -3 to +3 degrees, and the back an adjustment knob. To attach the gauge to alloy wheels, the maker names the Gunson Trackrite Camber Bar, product code 77137. The gauge comes in a fitted blow-moulded storage case.
