Castrol MAGNATEC 5W-40 C3 is an engine oil for petrol and diesel cars whose maker recommends an SAE 5W-40 oil of ACEA C3, API SN or an earlier performance class.

Up to 75% of engine wear happens while the engine starts and warms up. MAGNATEC oil clings to metal surfaces like a magnet from the moment the engine starts and stays there after it stops. With DUALOCK technology the oil's molecules lock together into a lasting protective film against wear in every operating mode of the engine. Castrol MAGNATEC oils give up to 50% more wear resistance at cold start, during warm-up and in stop-start driving.
