Partner programme terms
In force from 07.10.2026.
In the partner programme you share your own discount code. A shopper using the code gets a discount, and you earn commission on the orders paid with it. This page explains how that works.
The parties
The agreement is between Autojoy OÜ (registry code 14752838, VAT number EE102171439, Mäealuse tn 10, boks 5, 12618 Tallinn), trading as autotools ("we"), and the partner who has joined the programme ("you").
Who may join
Anyone may apply on the programme page at autotools.ee/partners. We review every application and decide it ourselves. We may turn an application down without giving every reason.
By applying you accept these terms. The partnership starts when we have approved your application and sent you your code.
The code and the link
You get a personal code and a link of the form autotools.ee/p/CODE. When a shopper opens the link, we put the code in their basket. A shopper can also type the code into the basket themselves.
A sale counts as yours only when the paid order carries your code. There is no other connection: we use no tracking cookies and do not count sales by clicks. If the shopper removes the code or uses a different code instead, the order is not yours.
The shopper's discount
The code gives the shopper a discount on the price of goods. The discount rate is published on the programme page and on your partner page. When these terms were published it was 15%.
The discount does not apply:
- to items on sale or at a member price,
- to items whose price was lower in the last 30 days,
- together with other discount codes, because an order can carry only one code,
- to gift cards.
The basket shows which items the code did not apply to.
Commission
The commission rate is published on the programme page and on your partner page. When these terms were published it was 5%.
We work out commission at that rate on the value of the order's goods excluding VAT. The value is counted after the code's discount and any points the shopper paid with. Delivery and gift cards are not part of it. We use the rate that applied when the order was paid.
You may use your own code and get the discount, but your own orders earn no commission. An order is your own when it is placed from your account or with your email address, or when your company is on its invoice.
We may change the discount rate and the commission rate. We tell you by email when we do. A new commission rate applies to orders paid after the change, and a new discount to baskets after the change.
When commission is paid
Commission becomes final 30 days after the goods were delivered to the shopper or the shopper collected them. If we do not know the date the goods were received, commission becomes final 45 days after payment.
We make payouts once a month. We pay out all commission that has become final by the end of a calendar month (Estonian time). If the amount is under €20, it carries forward to the next month.
If a shopper is refunded for an order, we deduct that order's commission. If it has already been paid out, we deduct it from later commission. If there is not enough, the balance goes negative and carries forward.
When the partnership ends, we pay out any positive balance that has become final, even if it is under €20.
Who we pay
We pay commission only to:
- a company in Estonia or Finland,
- a sole trader in Estonia or Finland (FIE in Estonia, toiminimi in Finland),
- an Estonian private person's entrepreneur account (ettevõtluskonto).
We do not pay a private person in any other way.
You enter your payout details on your partner page after joining. We pay by bank transfer to the account you give. Until the details are there, your balance waits for you. If you do not add them within 12 months of your oldest unpaid commission arising, the unpaid commission that has become final by then lapses. We email you a warning 3 months before.
Taxes and documents
For a company or a sole trader we draw up an invoice for each monthly payout on your behalf (self-billing). By joining you agree that we issue these invoices for you. If you do not dispute an invoice within 7 days [to be confirmed by the accountant], we treat it as accepted.
If you are registered for VAT in Estonia, 24% VAT is added to the invoice. A Finnish business's invoice is reverse charged.
For an entrepreneur account we draw up a payment statement and declare income tax as the law requires for payments to an entrepreneur account. You confirm on your partner page that the account is your entrepreneur account.
Rules for promotion
You may not:
- share the code or the link on coupon sites or cashback sites,
- bid on the name autotools or its misspellings in search ads,
- use browser extensions that add the code to a basket automatically,
- send spam,
- pose as autotools or act in its name.
A post with your code or link in it is an advertisement and must be labelled:
- In Estonia:
#reklaam @autotoolsat the start of the post. A post meant for an Estonian audience carries the label in Estonian. - In Finland:
MainosorKaupallinen yhteistyöwith the brand, and links markedMainoslinkki.
If these rules are broken, we may pause the code or end the partnership.
What you see of orders
For each order with your code, your partner page shows you only its date, its value excluding VAT, the commission and its state. We never show you who bought.
Pausing, ending and changes
We may pause or close a code. For example, if a code leaks we replace it with a new one, and the orders placed with the old code stay yours.
Either side may end the partnership by telling the other by email.
We may change these terms. We tell you about changes by email. Changes apply to orders paid after them.
Personal data
How we process applicants' and partners' data is described in the privacy policy.
