Start-stop cars get EFB, DualEFB and AGM batteries, conventional cars the Excell series, and motorcycles AGM and standard batteries, plus one lithium option.
Check three numbers when choosing: capacity (Ah), cold cranking current (A) and case dimensions. Then check the terminal layout, shown as -+ or +- in the name, because a reversed battery leaves the cables short.
