## Description

Technicqll Universal Silicone in a small tube is a one-component universal silicone sealant based on polysiloxanes, with an acetoxy (acetic) cure. It cures with moisture from the air into a weatherproof, rubber-like seal. The silicone is 100% binder and forms a rubbery bond after 5 minutes. You can use it indoors and outdoors for bonding, sealing joints and filling gaps in existing silicone.

It also adheres to smooth surfaces such as glass. Typical uses are sealing boats, ships, cars and caravans, doors and windows, joints between building materials and finishing elements, shop windows, showcases, counters, signs and advertising light boxes, and grouting tiles. The joint stays smooth and glossy, does not crumble or crack, and resists weather, moisture and UV radiation.

**Suitable materials**

- Glass, ceramics, porcelain, stone and brick
- Metals, except those listed below
- Wood, plastics, plasterboard and polystyrene foam

**Not suitable for**

- Teflon, PP, PE, PVC, acrylic, marble and concrete
- Metals sensitive to corrosion: lead, zinc, copper and iron
- Sealing aquariums or bonding mirrors
- Avoid contact with the secondary seal of insulating glass units and with laminated glass

**How to use**

- Clean the surfaces of grease, moisture and dirt.
- For joints: mask both edges of the joint with tape, apply the silicone, smooth it with a spatula dipped in soapy water and remove the tape after about 10 minutes.
- For bonding: apply the silicone in dots 2-3 cm apart on one surface and press the parts together lightly, not firmly: the silicone needs moisture from the air to cure, so leave air in the joint.
- Support parts bonded to vertical surfaces for 24 hours.
- Remove fresh stains with soapy water or white spirit, and cured or excess silicone with a knife or spatula.
- Keep the work area well ventilated.
