## Description

Motip 1K Wash Primer is a universal 1K etching primer for uncoated metal: steel, galvanised steel, stainless steel and aluminium. You can apply it directly on metal. It adheres to metal surfaces that have been sanded first and protects against corrosion.

After sanding it can be recoated with a 1K or 2K primer (Motip 1K or 2K Primer/Filler). It is fast drying and works with standard water-based paint coatings and 1K and 2K top coats. Depending on the coat thickness it works as a protective primer or as a filler. It is weldable and suitable for spot repair.

**Use**

- The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease.
- Remove loose old lacquer and rust and sand the surface.
- Recommended processing temperature: 10-25 °C.
- Shake the can for 2 minutes and spray a test patch.
- Spray from about 15-20 cm and apply 1-2 thin layers.
- After use, clean the valve: turn the can upside down and press the nozzle for about 5 seconds.

- Extremely flammable aerosol. The container is under pressure and may burst if heated.
- Causes serious eye irritation. May cause drowsiness or dizziness.
- Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects.

- Keep out of reach of children.
- Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. Do not spray onto a flame or other ignition source.
- Do not pierce or burn, even after use.
- Do not breathe the spray.
- Protect from sunlight. Do not store above 50 °C.
- Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking.
- Insufficient ventilation may form explosive mixtures.
- Dispose of the contents and container in accordance with local regulations.
- Contains: acetone, n-butyl acetate, 2-methoxy-1-methylethyl acetate, n-butanol.
