## Description

Liqui Moly Pro-Line Intake System Cleaner Diesel is an active solvent with a combination of additives that removes dirt and deposits from the diesel engine intake system and the throttle valve area. It dissolves and removes oil, resin, soot and similar dirt. With it you clean the intake manifold and intake valves without dismantling anything.

It is suitable for use in diesel engines only, and it is suitable for engines with a diesel particulate filter.

**Usage**

Once you have fitted the spray head to the can, do not remove it again. Create access to the intake system downstream of the air flow meter, turbocharger and intercooler, if possible directly in front of the intake manifold. Start the engine to begin cleaning. If the engine will not hold its revs or will not start with the intake pipe removed, disconnect the air flow meter plug with the ignition off. In that case, after cleaning, clear the fault stored in the engine control unit with a suitable diagnostic device and re-teach the air flow meter if necessary. Spray the cleaner into the intake system through the spray tube in 2-3 second intervals at 2000 revs or more, moving the tube back and forth to clean the whole intake tract. If the revs rise by more than 1000 revs, stop spraying at once. Keep the cleaner away from the air flow meter and painted parts. For stubborn deposits in the intake manifold or on the intake valves, repeat the cleaning with a second can. After use, let the engine run for about 20 seconds at 2000 revs or more so that residues left in the intake system burn off.
