## Description

The Laser Tools Camshaft Alignment Kit is for VAG 1.4 TFSI petrol engines with engine codes CPTA and CZEA (2012-2018). These engines have CoD (Cylinder on Demand), which switches between 2 and 4 cylinder running modes. Alongside the kit you also need the tensioner spanner, Laser part no. 6199. The kit is made in Sheffield, and the camshaft positioning tool is a UK and EU registered design.

Note: if component C734 is over tightened on the cylinder head, it pushes the inner shaft of the inlet camshaft to one side. The result is a misfire and ACT or COD fault codes. If this happens, push the camshaft pulley and shaft assembly back into alignment.
