## Description

CIA - Glass is a colourless Technicqll instant adhesive that bonds glass to metal permanently. It joins glass, crystal and gemstones to hard and flexible materials, and it is resistant to UV radiation, moisture and most chemicals.

The adhesive is made for bonding a rear-view mirror to the windscreen and for re-bonding a side mirror. The brush in the cap lets you reach large surfaces and hard-to-reach spots, and the even film it lays down spreads the adhesion forces evenly when the joint is under tearing stress. A shock absorbent rubber pad for mounting the rear-view mirror is included: it evens out unevenness and damps vibration.

**Fitting a rear-view mirror**

- Clean and degrease the windscreen, the mirror foot and the rubber pad. The surfaces must be clean, free of grease and dry.
- Mark the exact position of the mirror foot or holder on the windscreen; correcting it during fitting is not advised.
- Remove the mirror from the holder.
- Apply an even layer of adhesive, as thin as possible, to the metal surface of the holder.
- Lay the degreased rubber pad on a smooth horizontal surface such as a table, press the holder onto it and hold it with even force for 10 seconds.
- Trim the excess rubber to the size of the holder's base.
- With the brush, apply a second thin, even layer of adhesive to the rubber pad now fixed to the holder.
- Press the holder onto the windscreen in one firm movement, without sliding it and with even force, and hold it still for 20-30 seconds.
- Leave the holder for at least 1 hour, then fit the mirror to it.
- Remove excess adhesive with Technicqll instant adhesive remover P-093.

**Warning**

- Cyanoacrylate. Danger. Bonds skin and eyes in seconds.
- Contains hydroquinone. May produce an allergic reaction.
- Causes skin irritation.
- May cause an allergic skin reaction.
- Causes serious eye irritation.
- May cause respiratory irritation.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Wear protective gloves, protective clothing, eye protection and face protection.
- IF ON SKIN: wash with plenty of soap and water.
- IF IN EYES: rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
- If eye irritation persists: get medical advice.
- If skin irritation occurs: get medical advice.
- Dispose of the contents and container in accordance with applicable waste regulations.
