## Description

Exide EFB is a 12 V starter battery for micro-hybrid cars with Start-Stop and brake energy recovery. It is built on Exide ECM (Enhanced Cycle Mat) technology, which Exide developed together with European car makers: the electrolyte is absorbed into glass fibre and polyethylene separators, which allows the fast, repeated start and charge cycles a Start-Stop system needs.

The battery withstands start and charge cycles twice as well as a conventional lead-acid battery and meets the original-equipment quality and technology requirements for Start-Stop vehicles. It can be installed in the engine compartment and also suits other uses with a high energy demand.
