## Description

Technicqll construction adhesive is a one-component polyurethane (PU) adhesive that cures with moisture. As it cures, it expands and fills pores and gaps. It is a thixotropic paste that does not run off vertical surfaces, and you can use it indoors and outdoors. The joint is moisture resistant to class D4 and stays flexible.

You use it in repair and building work: bonding window sills, thresholds and stairs, fixing wooden structures to concrete, and setting dowels and screws in different substrates. It also suits re-fixing loose expansion plugs.

**How to use**

- The surfaces must be clean and free of grease. Roughen plastic and metal surfaces first, for example with sandpaper.
- You can apply the adhesive to damp substrates. At least one of the surfaces must be porous or let vapour through well.
- Sand smooth surfaces and spray them lightly with water (10 to 20 g/m²).
- Apply the adhesive to one surface with the applicator in the pack and join the surfaces straight away. Wear the gloves from the pack.
- Press the surfaces tightly together and fix them (for example with tape) until the adhesive has cured.
- You can use the repaired items after about 2 hours. The adhesive reaches full strength after 24 hours.
- Remove adhesive residue mechanically after curing, or with a cloth wetted with acetone or white spirit.
- The joint yellows over time. If it is exposed to strong UV light, cover it with a protective varnish.
- Once opened, the adhesive keeps for about 14 days.

**Warning**

- Causes skin irritation and serious eye damage. May cause an allergic skin reaction.
- Harmful if inhaled. May cause allergy or asthma symptoms or breathing difficulties if inhaled, and may cause respiratory irritation.
- May cause damage to organs through prolonged or repeated exposure.
- Keep out of the reach of children.
- If inhaled: move the person to fresh air and keep them comfortable for breathing.
- If in eyes: rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do, then keep rinsing.
