## Description

The Autoxscan X503PRO is an engine oil tester that measures how transparent the oil in a petrol or diesel engine is, that is, how much light passes through it. From the same light transmission reading it also detects metallic contaminants in the oil. The probe has a photoelectric transmitter-receiver sensor, and a built-in temperature sensor shows the oil temperature.

The tester suits most lubricating oils for petrol and diesel engines; take a separate sample from a petrol and from a diesel engine. You read the result on a 2.8 inch backlit LCD, with the temperature in °C or °F.
